Flipkart Settlement Report Explained: How to Read & Verify It
The settlement report is the only document that shows what Flipkart actually paid you, order by order. Here's what each part means, and seven checks that catch missing or short payments.

The short answer
The Flipkart settlement report lists every payment Flipkart made, or will make, to your bank for a period. Each line is an order or a non-order item (SPF claims, storage, recalls, ads), with the fees and taxes deducted and the final bank settlement value: the amount that reaches your account. To verify it, match each payment to your bank statement and check every delivered order was paid the right amount.
Where to download it
Log in to Flipkart Seller Hub and open Payments. You'll find your previous payouts, upcoming payouts and a settlement report you can download for a date range. Pick a range that matches the period you want to check, for example one month, and download it as a spreadsheet. Menu labels change from time to time, but the settlement report always lives under Payments.
Anatomy of one settlement line
Column names vary slightly between report versions, but every order line answers the same four questions: which order, how much it sold for, what Flipkart took, and what you received.

Identifiers. The order or order item, and the bank reference you'll find on your bank statement.
Marketplace fees. Commission, fixed, collection and shipping fees, plus reverse shipping on returns.
Taxes. 18% GST on fees, 0.5% GST TCS and 0.1% TDS under section 194-O.
Bank settlement value. What you actually received. Negative when a return reverses a payment.
The sheets inside the report
The download usually has several tabs. The total paid into your bank is the sum across all of them, not just the orders sheet.
Orders
One line per order item: sale amount, fees, taxes and bank settlement value. Returns appear as reversals against the original order.
Non-order SPF
Seller Protection Fund credits for claims Flipkart approved, such as damaged or lost returns.
Storage & recall
Only for Flipkart-fulfilled (FBF) stock: warehouse storage fees and charges for stock you asked to be sent back.
Ads
Flipkart Ads spend recovered from your payout when your ads wallet doesn't cover it.
Bank settlement vs sales vs profit
These are three different numbers, and mixing them up is the most common source of confusion:
Sales is what customers paid, including GST.
Bank settlement is sales minus Flipkart's fees and taxes, plus or minus returns and non-order lines. It's what reaches your account.
Profit is settlement minus your product cost, packing, ads you paid separately, and losses on damaged returns.
To estimate the settlement and profit for a single product before you list it, use the Flipkart profit calculator.
How to verify your Flipkart settlement report: 7 checks
Match payments to your bank statement
Group the report by payment reference (NEFT/UTR) and check each total against the credit on your bank statement for that date.
Check every delivered order was paid
Compare delivered orders from your Orders report with the settlement lines. A delivered order missing past your normal payment cycle needs a ticket.
Recompute the fees
For a sample of orders, work out the commission, fixed, collection and shipping fees from your rate card. A miscategorised product or wrong weight slab shows up here.
Check returns and RTO
Reversals and reverse shipping should only appear on orders that were actually returned, and only once per return.
Check cancelled orders
Orders cancelled before dispatch shouldn't carry fees. Any that do are worth disputing.
Review non-order lines
Look at SPF credits, storage, recall and ads recovery separately. Make sure approved SPF claims were actually paid.
Reconcile TCS and TDS
Accept the TCS credit on the GST portal so it reaches your cash ledger, and check TDS against Form 26AS / AIS before filing income tax.
Found a mismatch? What to do
Collect the order IDs, the amount you expected, the amount received and the payment reference. Raise a ticket from the Seller Hub help section, one issue type per ticket, and attach the relevant rows of the report. Tracking these in a sheet each cycle makes repeat problems, such as one SKU always charged the wrong shipping slab, easy to spot. For the common reasons behind gaps, see why your settlement doesn't match your sales.
It is the record of what Flipkart has paid, or will pay, into your bank for a period. Each line shows an order or a non-order item (SPF claims, storage, recalls, ads), the fees and taxes deducted, and the final bank settlement value.
What is bank settlement value in Flipkart?
Bank settlement value is the amount that actually reaches your bank for that line, after Flipkart's commission, fixed, collection and shipping fees, GST on those fees, TCS and TDS. It can be negative, for example when a return reverses an earlier payment.
How do I download my Flipkart settlement report?
In Flipkart Seller Hub, open the Payments section and choose the settlement or payments report for the date range you want. Previous payouts and upcoming payouts are listed separately. Menu labels change from time to time, but the report always lives under Payments.
How do I verify my Flipkart settlement report?
Match each payment reference (NEFT/UTR) to your bank statement, check that every delivered order appears, recompute fees from your rate card, confirm returns and cancellations were charged correctly, review non-order lines such as storage and ads, and reconcile TCS and TDS with your tax records.
Why is my Flipkart settlement less than my sales?
Because fees, GST on fees, 0.5% TCS, 0.1% TDS, return reversals, reverse shipping and ad recoveries come out before payout. Most of the gap is expected; the part that is not is what verification finds.
Why is an order missing from my settlement report?
Usually because it has not reached its payment date yet, it was returned or cancelled, or it is on hold. If a delivered order stays missing beyond your normal payment cycle, raise a ticket in Seller Hub with the order ID.
Are TCS and TDS in the settlement report refundable?
They are not lost. TCS (0.5%) is credited to your GST cash ledger once you accept it on the GST portal, and TDS under section 194-O (0.1%) appears in Form 26AS / AIS and is adjusted against your income tax.
What are storage and recall charges?
They apply if you use Flipkart fulfilment (FBF): storage is charged for stock kept in Flipkart warehouses, and recall is charged when you ask for stock to be sent back. They appear as non-order lines in the settlement report.
